let me tell you mine..
My name is Mickenzie!! I'm a small-town girl who moved to Columbus, Ohio, and got my degree in Strategic Communications. During my studies, I took a photography class for an elective and discovered my love for this kind of art! Since graduating I have moved back home to Athens, Ohio to see what all God may have in store for this little business that he trusts me with!! I truly hope to work with you and create beautiful images that feel like you !! xx
in my free time...
You can find me hanging out with my closest friends and family or going to the gym and picking up an iced latte afterward! And yes, I'll choose an iced latte year-round :) I love traveling around which works out great considering some of my closest friends live on the other side of the country! If I'm not cozied up in the living room watching a movie then you can bet your bottom dollar I'm watching the sunset over the river!!
What is my style
When I'm not capturing THE moment, I'm always on the lookout for those in-between moments that most won't notice unless I capture them! I find that combining classy, posed shots with fun, prompted moments is how I create photos that are unique to you!
how i edit
My editing style, at its core, is an enhanced true-to-color, creamy photo. I love preserving life’s moments and making them look cohesive—what feels right for each photograph. Depending on what I’m shooting, I might add in some beautiful black-and-white photos or even apply a filmy preset with a little grain for the perfect vintage look! In your gallery, you’ll find some trendy/funky cropped photos, but for each of those, you’ll have the original, classy photograph to go with it. Trendy photos are fun to take part in, but my goal at the end of the day is for you to have timeless photographs that you can hang in your home.
